This utility can change almost all the things in
Scm files that StarEdit doesn't.

Setting up Scm Toolkit
----------------------
Before you can open an scm or scx you need to give the
program the location of mpq2k or lmpq.  Click options
then browse and open the file for your mpq archiver.
Mpq2k and lmpq are the only ones supported currently
(and the only ones that exist).

Resizing a map
--------------
To resize a map:
1) Open your map in Scm Toolkit.
2) Go to the dimension tab.
3) Type in the new width and height.
4) If you want the map be read from a certain part,
   type in the coordinate for "Read from."  This will
   remove parts of the map to the left and above that
   spot and put the rest of the map in its place.
5) If you want the map to be placed at a different
   location, for example, when making a small map
   larger, type in the coordinates of the location
   you want the upper-left corner of the map placed
   into "Place at."
6) Save the map.

Creating a start location for players 9-12
------------------------------------------
1) Create a command center or other building that is the
   same size as a start location.
2) Open the map in Scm Toolkit.
3) Go to the Units tab and find the command center in
   the unit list.
4) Change the unit type to start location and the player
   to the number you want to have that start location
   (player 1 is number 0).
5) Save the map.

Making a computer player with a random race in Use map settings
---------------------------------------------------------------
1) Open your map in Scm Toolkit.
2) Go to the Player race tab.
3) Change the computer players race to "Use map settings."
4) Save the map.

Using the map protector
-----------------------
After opening a map, go to the "Protect" menu.  There will be
three options available.
Permanent protect
 - Using this will make the map never openable in the Campaign
   Editor again.  The map may still be opened in Scm Toolkit
   by using your password.
Encrypted protect
 - With this option Scm Toolkit will just encrypt the data
   used by the Campaign Editor.  This will have the same
   effect as the above, but the map may be unencrypted by
   using your password.
   Note:  Due to the encryption technique used, maps may not
   compress very well.  Maps will also take longer to open
   and save in Scm Toolkit.
Unprotected
 - This option will be selected by default with an unprotected
   map.  This may be selected for an encrypted map to make the
   map editable in the Campaign Editor.
If you choose to protect your map, you will be prompted to
type a message and a password.  The message will appear when
someone tries to open your map with Scm Toolkit.  The password
will be required to open your map in Scm Toolkit.
The settings you choose for map protection will be applied
when the map is saved.

Known Bugs
----------
Some maps that are resized with this program still can't be
opened in StarEdit.
